AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday said, the opposition parties are unable to stand any proper issue to fight against the Modi Govt and that’s why people have no trust in them. CM said, “Earlier before election, scandals were used as political issues but now, no scandal is coming out. PM Modi has ended the corruption in this system.”
“Now the opposition is talking about democracy. I want to ask the CPI-M who ruled for 25 years, where was democracy in CPI-M time ? Chanmohan Tripura was killed brutally and so many murders took place in CPI-M time. Where was the democracy then?”
CM was campaigning for West Tripura Lok Sabha poll in AD Nagar Agartala.
29 voters from 9 families joined BJP in presence of CM during the rally.
