AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): Ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2024, Tripura’s regional party Tipra Motha aligned with BJP and the BJP has nominated Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya’s sister as the candidate for East Tripura constituency. Reacting to the alliance, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman while addressing ar Rajnagar constituency said that Tipra Motha supremo has compromised with money and aligned with BJP in exchange of candidature for his sister.
“My ST brothers. Bubagra is sold off before Raang (money) and Power. We were also in power but after seeing such lawlessness in the government, I resigned. Who are the real kings ? We are real kings. I.N.D.I.A. is real king. We are the king of love. But that Bubagra compromised with Rang. Pineapple replaced with lotus,” said Barman.
“You do not need to go in rallies and meetings, but cast the vote. Trust me, BJP won’t cross 200 seats,” said Barman.
CPI-M State Secretary cum opposition leader was also present at the rally. The rally was dedicated to West Tripura I.N.D.I.A. constituency candidate Asish Saha.
