AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Baramura which is also known as Hatwai Kathar now, witnessed a horrifying road accident on Thursday. Five injured in head-on collision between long-distance truck and passenger-carrying four-wheeler on the Assam Agartala National Highway. The incident took place in Bankumari area of Baramura Hill. According to the reports, the small car numbered TR 07 D 0420 was going to Agartala with passengers from Teliamura. On the other hand, a long-distance truck from Agartala was coming towards Teliamura.
A truck and a passenger vehicle collided while taking a turn at Bankumari area of Baramura Hill on the Assam Agartala National Highway.
Eyewitnesses informed about the incident to Teliamura fire department. The firemen rushed to the spot after receiving the information and brought a total of five injured persons including two children to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.
