On Wednesday CM Dr Manik Saha visited West Bengal and participated in the nomination submission process of Dr Sukanta Majumder. Sukanta Majumder is the Lok Sabha candidate for Balughat, West Bengal.

This was not the first campaigning of Dr Saha in West Bengal but earlier also he visited many times in the state.

Out of top prioritized state, West Bengal is another major target of the BJP for the Lok Sabha poll.

Even though central BJP leaders like B.L. Santhosh have visited Tripura, but for campaigning, Dr Manik Saha has been operating as the star campaigner. He has been covering both East Tripura and West Tripura constituencies.

There is reports on internal fighting within BJP about candidate selections and central leadership is also having an eye on that.

Dr Manik Saha has asked BJP workers more to focus to highlight on the good works done by BJP in last 10 years of Modi Govt, than to follow any other means of election.

Amid all these, campaigning has not been stopped.

After West Bengal, CM has returned to state Tripura and in two places he held meetings. CM also joined a joining program. Simultaneously, CM is campaigning in the East Tripura constituency, amid there are resentment within the BJP over candidate selection who is a resident of Jharkhand and sister of Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya.

Home Minister Amit Shah has been scheduled to visit Tripura by next week.
