BISHALGARH, April 3 (TIWN): Last Sunday morning, a sudden storm destroyed people's houses and rubber plantations.
After this storm devastation on Monday morning, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited Lembutali area under Bishalgarh division and spoke to the affected families and assured that government assistance would be extended soon and directed the administration of Bishalgarh subdivision to provide government assistance to the affected families.
A delegation from the Tripura Rubber Board visited the affected areas on Wednesday afternoon.
The delegation said today that they will visit the other affected rubber plantations of Gokulangarh area and will also talk to the affected rubber farmers.
The officials said that the affected rubber farmers would get financial assistance from the Tripura Rubber Board. The report form will be sent to the higher officials of the board.
