AGARTALA/ KAILASHAHAR, April 4 (TIWN): District Election Officer on Thursday visited RKI institution, one of the segments of the East Tripura constituency under Unakoti District.
The East Tripura Election will be held on 26th April for the ST-reserved seat.
An official said, in Kailashahar the Assembly segments are 54-24 and 53 whereas in Kumarghat it’s 50 and 51.
“All preparations have been started for the East Tripura general poll. Venues, strong room, counting halls are getting ready for the election,” said the election official.

Tripura has total two constituencies for the Lok Sabha poll – 1) West Tripura (general seat), 2) East Tripura (ST-reserved seat).
The West Tripura Election will be held on April 19 and the East Tripura will be held on April 26.
Tripura to undergo another poll which is a by-poll in the Ramnagar constituency on April 19.
