AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): Storm affected more than 70 houses across Kamalasagar on Sunday’s heavy storm. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday visited the areas and met family members. Talking to the families in Lembutala, CM assured full support from the government but he appealed to common men to stand beside the families. Bishalgarh local officials in the concerned department were also present with CM during his visit.
Some family members broke into cries after CM met them.
Talking to the media after the visit, Dr Saha said, “Not only here but across Tripura people have been affected due to the storm. Many people lost their homes in this catastrophe. I have talked to the officials who are already engaged in actions.”
“Funds related to natural disasters will be released. All needful actions will be taken but I appeal everyone to stand beside the families,” CM said.
