AGARTALA, March 31 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday campaigned for the upcoming West Tripura Lok Sabha poll in Udaipur covering the Bagma area mostly. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy was present with CM Dr Saha during the campaigning. Addressing the media after house-to-house campaigning and rallies, CM said that, the public is coming up with a massive response to the BJP and they are saying that there is no alternative to Modi ji.
PM Modi has targeted 370 seats but I think, it will accede than that,” said CM.
Tripura Lok Sabha polls are to be held in two phases on April 19 and April 26. On April 19, the poll will be held for the West Tripura seat, and on April 26, the East Tripura constituency poll will be conducted.
