AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): In an unprecedented announcement, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya who has been demanding Greater Tipraland for Tripura indigenous people will sit on a hunger strike from 28th February.

Today Tipra Motha leaders visited Baramura where the strike will take place.

Manikya said, the central govt is not taking the demands of the indigenous people seriously and to make sure that the center should take the demand seriously, the strike will be held.

Tipra Motha said, if law and order deteriorates, Tipra Motha will not be responsible for that.
