AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): West Agartala Police arrested a thief named Sitaram Sindhe on Sunday in connection to the arrest of three Maharashtra residents from Agartala Railway station.

On Saturday three persons were arrested in Agartala Railway station with Rs. 9 Lakh rupees. After interrogating them, it was known that they brought gold jewelry from other states and sold them in Agartala. The entire process is operated in a smuggling method.

After interrogating them, police detained Sitaram Sindhe who is also connected to the racket.
