DHARMANAGAR, Feb 19 (TIWN): Six persons including five women were detained by Dharmanagar police with drugs.

One of the detained women was carrying a child with her. Each of them are resident of Bihar.

With the help of the local people, Dharmanagar police could arrest the smugglers. The detained persons were carrying Ganja with them.

They came to Kumarghat on a bus and then, took an auto to reach the ISBT bus stand in Dharmanagar.

Dharmanagar police after getting information, caught them at 11.30 am.

Total of 26 packets of Ganja weights 17 KG 756 Grams were recovered from then.

The arrested persons are Bikash Mandal, Kabita Devi, Kajal Bebi, Rinku Devi, Ranju Devi, Suman Devi. They are residents of Bihar, Karchila.
