AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): Ahead of the Lok Sabha Election, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and around hundreds of BJP leaders have left for Delhi today. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee and cabinet minister are also going to Delhi. Talking to media, BJP MP Rebati Tripura said, “We are going to participate in national convention in Delhi which will be held on 17th and 18th February. As the Lok Sabha election is approaching, the discussion will be held regarding poll issues.”
“Prime Minister Modi has targeted 370 seats in this poll and alone BJP must win these all seats. So the discussion will be held about the poll strategies,” said MP Rebati Tripura.
“Chief Minister, all ministers, and MLAs are going to participate in the convention. Also, party office bearers including the party president are going to Delhi,” said Rebati Tripura.
“This is not an unusual event. It is held before all elections,” said former Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman.
