AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Saraswati puja and Valentine’s Day celebrations go side by side this year. After celebrating Saraswati puja, youngsters started celebrating Valentine’s Day with friends, lover and even with families. Prices of flowers, especially the red roses go high. Talking to a shopkeeper in Agartala he said, roses have different prices from 50 rupees to 100 rupees and even more. This year Saraswati puja and Valentine’s day have fallen on a same day and both festivals are centered around the teen and young generation.
Mostly Generation Z is celebrating this Valentine’s day mostly whereas other generations of people are too celebrating.
Apart from flower shops, and restaurants, tourist spots have also witnessed gatherings. Agartala Ujjayanta Palace area which is considered the den of lovers is seeing the gathering of youngsters.
