AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Festive temperament has gripped schools, colleges and all educational institutions in Tripura as Saraswati puja has been celebrated.

This festival is considered the biggest celebration, especially for schools and colleges where students, and teachers participate in the joint celebration.

In the morning, prayers and 'anjali' were offered to Goddess Saraswati, and ‘prasad’ distributions were held. In the evening, many schools, and colleges organize cultural programs or gatherings with musical instruments.

Centering the festival, the security system was also beefed up across the state.
