AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Hailing the economy and development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said either nationally or inside state Tripura, developmental activities are going on heavily. The chief minister was addressing in Agartala after inaugurating various developmental projects. “India is now 5th largest economy and targeting to be No-3. Earlier, India’s condition was pathetic before Narendra Modi. It was poor in economy. Pakistan terrorists entered India and killed the armies; and same was done by China but now under PM Modi’s leadership and surgical strike, airstrike, India is no more seen as a weak nation,” said CM Dr. Manik Saha.
“Before we demand anything, we get and whenever we request anything, immediately the central govt allocates that. That is the benefit of this double-engine government. We are now getting SEZ which is special economic zone,” said Saha.
“Transport system has been developed massively under Modi Govt. So many express trains are operational. Earlier, nobody could imagine that. Our international connectivity is also getting stronger. Overall. Everywhere, development and development can be seen now,” added Saha.
