AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Monday slammed Tipra Motha leaders accusing them of leading lavish-lifestyle with the help BJP Govt.
In a press meeting held at Melarmath party office, Jitendra Chowdhury said, “Due to state govt’s partial role, ADC areas’ development is halted. When such things are happening, some Tipra Motha leaders are busy with luxurious lifestyles.”
“They (Tipra Motha) leaders are trying to keep good relations with BJP and on the other hand raising some slogans to get attention,” said Jitendra Chowdhury.
The comment came from Jitendra Chowdhury amid an ongoing strike called by Tipra Motha along with other regional parties’ student organizations after Tripura Govt led TBSE suddenly prohibited Roman script for Kokborok language uses.
