All the members of People’s party including the President have converted to BJP, raising ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jay’ slogan.

The party was a heavy critic of the BJP, although the strength of the party has been always low. Today, resolving all disputes with BJP the party has ended up by joining BJP.

In the joining program, Minister Santana Chakma, MP Pratima Bhowmik was present and handed over BJP’s flags to the newly joined members.
