AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Decked up in their best, residents of Tripura have plunged into festivities and merriment, ahead of Saraswati Puja, the biggest festival for school and college students.

This year Saraswati Puja will be held on February 14 and artisans are busy in decorating idols. 

Markets have been staged with Saraswati idols ahead of the puja.

Chants of Bag Devi Saraswati to reverberate across the state with every city, small town, and villages.

Regardless of town and villages all over the state school students are decoration their school premises for the upcoming occasion.

Already many schools have taken their idols to schools and the celebrations have been geared up.
