AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): TSF has called for an indefinite strike seeking implementation of Roman script for Kokborok language.

In a press conference, TSF leaders said, TISF has already called a road blockade with the same demand but TSF has now added a strike for indefinite period.

“TSF has been continuously protesting for Roman script uses in Kokborok language. TBSE president initially also agreed with our demand but on the very night he called a press meet and said, only Bengali can be used for Kokborok. We protest against forceful implementation of any language on us. We are not against any language,” said the TSF leader.
