TAKARJALA / AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): BJP MLA Shambhulal Chakma on Thursday addressing Takarjala rally after a joining ceremony was conducted there, said, next time BJP is going to win all seats from MLAs to MDCs. The BJP MLA was addressing the masses at Takarajal where BJP organized a joining program there. Addressing the occasion, Chakma said, “Today people can not be fooled anymore. They understand that the leaders who pitched about Thansa were dishonest. They did nothing for the people and no developmental work was held. People who became sentimental and joined Tipra Motha will now vote for BJP.”
“BJP will have MLAs, MDCs from this area,”said MLA Sambhu Lal Chakma.
BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee was also present in the joining program. He said, “Tipra Motha only talks about the Tipraland but development was done by them in last few years”.
Total 111 families 419 voters joined BJP in Takarjala today.
Tipra Motha is the ruling party in Tripura ADC, and having majority of the MDCs. On the contrary, BJP Govt did not conduct the village committee election for years.
