AGARTALA / BISHALGARH, Feb 8 (TIWN): Even though world’s leading media like BBC, CNN turned critic to India Govt for its shortfall in supplying sufficient oxygen, management of dead bodies and patients during unprecedented Covid-19, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday in Health Department's program in Bishalgarh subdivision, of Sepahijala District said that the way India has handled Covid-19 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the world now sees India differently. CM Manik Saha was addressing in Bishalgarh New Town Hall at 'Mukhyamontri Sustha Shaishab, Sushtha Kaishor Abhijan-6.0' program when he mentioned Covid-19 about the invisible virus, bacteria in the air causing various diseases.
“During the Covid-19 period, we have realized how the invisible virus are attacking us everyday. However, PM Modi’s excellent leadership has enabled us to tackle the Covid-19 period. But this an example of why immunity is very important and that’s why our Govt has started a deworming program for adults also. After Goa, it’s Tripura which has started deworming program for adults.”
CM Manik Saha praised National Health Mission (NHM) for its successful implementation of national schemes and state projects.
