AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Three Bangladesh citizens have been arrested in Natun Bazar, Amapur subdivision without any proper documentation. Police now are trying to find out who is involved behind this illegal infiltration and what is the motive behind them. Amarpur SDPO Debanjali Roy told media that at around 12 O’Clock, today, police received an information that three suspected persons were roaming in the market area at Natun Bazar. Getting information, police detained them from there and no proper documents could be found from them.
“We have seized four mobile phones from them and hoping to get more information from there. The persons who are helping illegal border infiltrations will soon be in the net,” Roy said.
Total of Rs 3,87,448 Bangladeshi currency, Rs 9,010 Indian currency was seized from them.
Interrogation is underway.
“We are trying our best to stop such illegal border activities. Police patrolling are active which has been helping us more to detect such illegal movements,” the SDPO told media.
