AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Royal Bengal Tigers have been brought from North Bengal zoo to Tripura Sepahijala sanctuary.
For 30 days, they have been kept in quarantine.
Along with the Royal Bengal tigers, 2 chita, 2 peacocks and some other species have also brought.
This step was taken to expand the tourism industry’s opportunity in the state.
Sepahijala was not in a good shape for a long time. However, new steps have been taken to overcome the situation and to draw tourists’ attention once again to the wildlife sanctuary.
