AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in a press conference said, in the last 3 months one lakh, fifty-five thousand, one hundred eighty-three tourists visited Tripura.
“We are working on the direction to increase more numbers of tourists. As you know, we have appointed the Indian cricket team's former captain Sourabh Ganguli as the brand ambassador, and our revenues have also started increasing after that. Soon we will release those photos to promote Tripura tourism”, said Sushanta Chowdhury.
“Our Govt has been restlessly working to develop the tourism sector since the Govt was formed. We have full support of the central govt and also time to time, we are financially helped. Both financial help and the State Govt’s efforts together have enabled us to work towards development”, said Sushanta Chowdhury.
