The main program was organized at Congress Bhawan, Agartala.

“Mahatma Gandhi’s vision is our inspiration. Once Congress fought against the British and in the same way, Congress is now fighting against the ruling Government which is trying to strict to the power with help of divisional politics”, said Tripura Congress President Asish Saha.

Matama Gandhi, the leading freedom fighter of India was assassinated by extremist Nathuram Godse on 30^th January 1948 with a gunshot.
