AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Along with the nationwide observation, Tripura Congress also observed Mahata Gandhi’s death anniversary in the state.
The main program was organized at Congress Bhawan, Agartala.
“Mahatma Gandhi’s vision is our inspiration. Once Congress fought against the British and in the same way, Congress is now fighting against the ruling Government which is trying to strict to the power with help of divisional politics”, said Tripura Congress President Asish Saha.
Matama Gandhi, the leading freedom fighter of India was assassinated by extremist Nathuram Godse on 30th January 1948 with a gunshot.
