AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): BJP Mohila Morcha demanded arrest of CPI-M former councillor Uma Chandra, who is by profession a lawyer. Allegation against her is she has provoked violence on a housewife in a neighbour’s home.
According to the version of BJP Mohila Morcha who placed also a deputation to the East Agartala women police station, a housewife named Jui Saha has been tortured by his husband Apu Saha, S/O-Umesh Chandra Saha. But neighbour Uma Chandra has allegedly instigating the domestic violence and always interfered in the family matter.
Based on a complaint, although Jui Saha’s husband Apu Saha was arrested but so far no action was taken against Uma Chandra. Seeking her arrest, Mohila Morcha members placed a deputation to the East Agartala PS.
