AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): On the occasion of the 127th birth anniversary of Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, “Many people have tried to pay respect to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in many ways, but if in reality if someone has paid respect to him it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This day has been declared as Parakram Diwas by Narendra Modi. Not only this, PM Modi said, Republic Day celebration which falls on 26th January should start from 23rd January”.
“We also have seen that PM Modi started the award in the name of Subash Chandra Bose and various department officials were awarded with the honor”, Saha said.
“We know that on 2022, September 1 Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s grand statue was installed in India Gate”, CM said.
“What I am trying to say, among all freedom fighters, if someone’s name should be on the top it is Netaji Subash Chandra Bose”, added CM.
After CM’s speech, a colourful rally was organized by Netaji Subash Vidyaniketan students dedicating to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. This rally is organized every year and the center of attraction for the entire state on Netaji Jayanti.
