The arrested persons are Baharuddin (24), of Patharkandia, and Sultan Ahmed (21), also from Patharkandi.

SP North Banupada Chakraborty said that the seized 7000 yaba tablets would cost of Rs. 34 lakhs.

“These are very dangerous kind of drugs. The effect of the drugs remain for 3 days”, said Chakraborty.

The riad took place at West side of Kalibari lake, Dharmanagar. However, one thief could manage to escape from the spot.
