AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation (TRPC) employees on Sunday slammed chairperson Patal Kanya Jamatia for launching protests if their salaries are not cleared. Talking to the media the employees said, “We are in this service for last 34 years. Suddenly, we are not getting salaries. Patal Kanya Jamatia in video conference told us that we will not get salaries now. We are shocked ! We are 128 in numbers and do not care for anyone. Our unity is very strong and so she should not disrupt the services and create unnecessary problems”.
The agitated employees said, “Be careful when dealing with us. We work in favour of the Janajati people. So, just after becoming the chairman someone should stop our salaries, it would not be tolerated”.
“We will stop vehicle services for the chairman. Unless we get our salaries, she will not get fuel for her salaries. Lots of funds are getting wasted for such services but in exchange for employees' pains such things will not be tolerated”, an employee said.
