SABROOM, Jan 4 (TIWN): Many children under 14 years of age were found working in a brick industry in Sabroom. Similar allegations were raised against many brick factories in the sub-division.

One of such brick factory’s owners is Pradip Datta who has kept many migrant workers in his company and children below 14 years of age are also working at a wage of Rs. 1500-2000 weekly.

However, Labour Dept officer Amit Kar rushed to the factory and revealed the illegal exploitation of children there.
