Reportedly, the young girl was missing for 3 days in Maheshpur, Kadamtala.

On 1^st January she went out of home to buy white paper but did not return home. Moreover, she had already taken shower from the same pond where her body was found and then she offered puja before leaving for the market.

Getting information about the incident, police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. However, the police officials did not say any word without the post mortem report.
