AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Four thieves were arrested by East Agartala Police on Tuesday.

Recently, several shops were looted in Banamalipur, and Dhaleswar areas. Accordingly, police started an investigation and so far have been successful in arresting four thieves.

Many stolen items including gold material were recovered by police during the operation.

Now police are interrogating the detained thieves to find out more details and trying to trace more persons' involvement in the theft-racket.
