AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha while addressing Good Governance Day on Monday said that Tripura needs to follow the Gujarat model for development, the Western coast state of India which was governed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his long-term chief ministry. He said, already Tripura officials were sent to Gujarat to observe the administrative model and then only implementation started. CM stated, it’s very important that transparency should be maintained and without that, no development is possible. CM Manik Saha was addressing the inauguration program of the Transformation Institution.
“In fact transparency is the key to Gujarat model and that’s why under Narendra Modi, Gujarat was developed with full transparency. We also have to maintain that level of transparency to implementing Good Governance”, CM added.
He further mentioned, it’s a matter of pride that out of 17 places where Transformation Institutions exist, only 5 are functional and Tripura is one of them,
