AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): After a goat had delivered a dead child that was immature in structure, local people at North Gandhigram started claiming that it was a human child and had hair.
Getting information, Mobile Veterinary Unit State VI Lab Call center supervisor Dr. Sulanki rushed to the spot and inspected the matter.
She completely refused the claim that the goat baby that was born dead was a human child. According to the Veterinary officer, the baby goat was not mature and its physical structure was not formed inside womb and that’s why it happened. Most likely it was a result of congenital uterine abnormalities which is a rare case.
"It may happen due to genetic or lack of nutrition. This is nothing surprising and people should stop spreading rumors", she said.
