AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): For the first time in Agartala GB hospital, cardiologists could cure a woman who has had a leaky valve by birth.
The cost of the treatment was around Rs. 80,000, said a Doctor comparing it with private hospitals where could cost a few lakhs.
The 54-year-old woman was treated with the recently developed medical process known as ASD.
ASD closure is a procedure to close an atrial septal defect (ASD) or hole in a person’s heart.
She was brought into a critical situation of her health.
