Agartala, January 28 (TIWN): Unidentified miscreants on Wednesday attacked the GB hospital auditorium and broke the glasses. Talking to TIWN, OC of GB outpost informed that, in the afternoon, about 2.30 p.m an unidentified miscreants suddenly throw a piece of stone targeting the auditorium. Investigation is going on. The accused will be arrested soon- He further added.

It is alleged that political leaders and goons trade money and favours for mutual gains, posing a major challenge for the Police administration to tighten the noose around such anti-social elements.

Incompetence of Police have become a major threat to peaceful citizenry across the state. Reportedly, the goons use muscle power and their presence in some wards is enough to pack off political functionaries of rival camps. The attack in a highly protected area in Hospital again revealed that the security arrangement contains some loop holes.

The recent raid against miscreant’s n the city to flush out anti-social elements is another example to show that Police have intensified action against criminals. Police claim that they have received orders from their higher-ups and started taking action against miscreants according to their past record.
