AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Dialysis center’s problems continue at GB hospital adding suffering to many kidney patients and their family members who have been waiting since the morning on Tuesday. Patients who were waiting for their dialysis said, they complained of undergoing unbearable discomfort due to waiting for a long time. Talking to the media, a patient's family member who came from Agartala Shib Nagar said, “We request the State Govt to solve the Dialysis center’s ongoing issues. Right now, water crisis is preventing the smooth function of the ward and our patients are suffering for hours. Along with patients, family members of the patients are also subjected to the suffering. In such a big hospital, the Health Dept should put some effort to permanently solve the problems”.

Apart from the water crisis, injection, medicine crisis are often complained against this dialysis center. GB hospital’s dialysis center has been under media controversy consistently and patients from other subdivisions struggle to get an appointment amid unavailability of dialysis facility in their own locality.
