MELAGHAR, Dec 5 (TIWN): Protesting against teachers’ shortage, the locals in Melaghar, Baradhepa locked an Anganwadi center on Tuesday.

The Anganwadi center at Tel Kajla Baradhepa in Melaghar Block has been without a teacher for seven months.

Since the last teacher Suniti Das's retirement at the Anganwadi Center before seven months, the department could not appoint any teacher in the Anganwadi center.

Protesting against this paralyzed condition of the education center, the local residents locked it and raised demand that the government should appoint teachers for this Anganwadi Center at the earliest.
