AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Saying ‘BPL card does not mean being well-off’, opposition leader Animesh Debbarma has demanded investigation into the mass suicide incident of the three family members in Bishalgarh.
After the suicide of the three family members, ruling party claimed, the family did not die due to poverty because the family members were receiving Antadoy benefits. Reacting to the claim, Animesh Debbarma said, that does not justify the family’s death reason can be something else, rather than crisis.
The incident happened in Thakur Para, Melaghar. Today, opposition leader Animesh Debbarma visited the house of the deceased, sought a proper investigation.
