AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha while addressing State Level Kala Utsav-2023 asked the Education Department to help students by recognizing their extra talents.
“Our duty is not only to train students in Education but there are many students who can emerge as artists in future but may not be encouraged by family for that. Please check the matter and if you get such talents or enthusiastic students who want to do something extraordinary, mark them. Education Dept will help them”, said CM to Education Dept officials.
However, CM’s statement is in one way contradictory to the policies of the Govt as Tripura Music College passed out students are unemployed and Govt has no policy and intention to recruit them in sufficient numbers. The unemployed Artists have requested the Govt many times to recruit them as other TET teachers.
