AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): CM Manik Saha after unveiling statue of King Bir Bikram Manikya at MBB College said, the King was not given enough recognition as he should have been given before the BJP Govt.
“It’s sad that the King was not highlighted for his works but since our Govt came to power, we are trying to do as much as we can”, said Manik Saha.
However, addressing the MBB college gathering CM Manik Saha said, the college was known nationwide and whenever the students of MBB college like him went outside the state, they felt very proud to say that they belong to MBB College, but now students first tried to take admission to other state’s Universities.
CM Manik Saha said students should overcome that mentality first and then only the tendency of going to other states will be decreased.
