AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): During weekly press meet on Thursday, GB hospital Doctors said, population-wise, Tripura does not sufficient Doctors.
Reacting to media queries a senior Doctor said, it’s true that in some places, especially in rural areas, some people are working as Doctors who do not have any medical degree and Govt must take action to prevent such risky, illegal practices.
The Doctors who were present in the press meet were Dr. Saugata Das, Dr. Sujit Kumar Roy, Dr. Vivek Senapati, and Dr. Santanu Dasgupta.
The Doctors’ team briefed about the 1-year report of the Dental Dept of AGMC including the special cases which were successfully handled by GB hospital Doctors.
“With the starting of Dental College in Tripura with 50 seats, Tripura hospitals surely will get many Dentists in the coming days”, said Dr. Saugata Roy.
