AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): Addressing the job distribution program for 38 JRBT candidates, Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday said that job is not the only way of income, as the Self-Help group women are earning over lakhs with Govt and Banks’ help.
“Our Govt committed to provide house to house income and Self-Help is one such income. Govt helped with development and Banks gave loans. You will be happy to know that among 8 lakhs Self-Help group employees already 85,000 women who are in self-help groups have become lakh-patis”, said Ratan Lal Nath.
“They are called our Lakh-Pati-Didi”, added Nath.
“We are committed to transparent recruitment process and JRBT recruitment is one such example. It does not matter, which party or ideology someone likes. Such external things have not affected the internal recruitment process”, said Nath.
