AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Ahead of Durga puja 2023, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar slammed the BJP Govt over the crisis exists in the state.

Addressing  a blood donation camp organized by SFI on Tuesday, Manik Sarkar said when in earlier days, children used to count on the numbers of their dresses in Durga puja, now new dresses for Durga puja festival are dreams for many.

“People have no option for celebration. Crisis of work, food leading the families to starve. Parents are selling their children. Mother committing suicide after poisoning own children. Govt has no concern over MGNREGA mandays and payment”, said Sarkar calling the BJP led State Govt further ‘inhuman’.
