AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): On his way to Mizoram, Congress National leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday did not miss the opportunity to meet his Tripura party leaders and stopped by at Agartala Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, where he met Tripura Congress President Asish Saha, MLA Sudip Barman, MLA Gopal Roy and other leaders. Rahul Gandhi was going to Mizoram for poll campaigning ahead of Mizoram Assembly poll that will be held on 7th November. Talking to media, after Rahul Gandhi’s departure, Congress MLA Sudip Barman informed that tomorrow while returning to Delhi from Mizoram, Rahul Gandhi again drop by here for the sake of further organizational discussions.
Barman mentioned, once the 5 state’s polls are completed, Rahul Gandhi will visit Tripura for two days.
However, internal political discussions have not been disclosed by Barman that took place between the party leaders and Rahul Gandhi.
