UDAIPUR, Oct 12 (TIWN): Subrata Tripura was holding his 3 years old son Kunal who stopped breathing and was not showing any sign of being alive at Gomati District hospital. Kunal was suffering from fever for a day at Manpathar area. His parents Subrata Tripura and Kalpana Tripura rushed him to the local hospital and from there, Kunal was referred to Gomati District hospital but family alleged that the child was not given any proper treatment and as a result he died. No proper reason was given by Medical team behind the child’s death. It was also alleged that no emergency based special care was provided to the 3 years old boy.
Devastated father Subrata Tripura, who is a daily worker could not afford costly, private hospital for his son. He was in tears and his voice was breaking when he was screaming “Oh my son… come back…”

Kunal’s mother Kalpana Tripura was holding their another child tightly and her face was ambiguous. Deceased Kunal's sibling who was too young to undertsand what's going on looked scared before the camera.
Earlier also many times, allegations were raised against Gomati District hospital over poor medical services, especially in child cases. It is alleged that there is no arrangement of proper childcare and specialists to work dedicatedly in the hospital.
