AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Moment of alert as Minister Ratan Lal Nath has announced to launch of a new methodology for power generation. It will be based on solar energy. However, solar energy is not a new thing but when Ratan Lal Nath makes decision either for his former Department of Education or now Department of Power, the review of Ratan Lal Nath’s performance has been truly low. Moreover, solar energy was earlier energized by the then Left Govt but it could not succeed as solar energy was insufficient to serve as the alternative to electricity and during cloudy days, solar energy collection turns tough.

Amid all these, Ratan Lal Nath has announced that solar energy will be used in place of gas which will save not only the gas but also to provide clean and green energy.

In irrigation also, it will be helpful with solar pump, said Ratan Lal Nath.
