KAILASHAHAR, Sept 28 (TIWN): A party meeting was held at the house of Ismed Ali, of Samarurpar Gram Panchayat, Ward No. 3 under Minister Tinku Roy's own assembly constituency 52-Chandipur Assembly constituency on Wednesday night of September 27.

Samarurpar Gram Panchayat’s Deputy Chief Dilip Das, 52-Chandipur Assembly Constituency Minority Morchar Mandal President Zamir Ali, BJP leader Subhranshu Dey and many others were present at the party's home meeting at Ismed Ali's house.

In the party meeting 40 voters from 8 families quitting CPIM, Congress joined BJP at Samarurpar village panchayat in Kailashahar.

The presence of women as well as men from minority communities was noticeable. 52-Chandipur Assembly Minority Morcha Mandal President Zamir Ali welcomed the new joiners. While briefing before the media Minority Morcha Mandal President Zamir Ali and Deputy President Dilip Das said that most of the residents of Ward No. 3 of Samarurpar Gram Panchayat belong to minority communities.
