Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar visited Alaria Prajapita Iswaria University Center along with his wife Panchali Bhattacharjee and paid tribute to her.

Condoling before media on the demise of Kavita Behenji, Sarkar said, “She was a generous woman and she always tried to highlight Tripura’s positive sides. She was also critical of the flaws in the system and suggested to us how to improve that”.
