AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): 17 years old Rohit Das’s father with his choking voice was mumbling before press on Tuesday but tried his best to describe the incident amid his traumatized condition after he lost his son in GB Hospital that was alleged due to deprivation of treatment since the patient had slapped the nurse. Rohit Das was reported admitted to GB Hospital after he was suffering from Dengue and referred from Mohanpur hospital to GB Hospital. Residents of Bijoynagar, Sidhai Mohanpur, Rohit Das’s family rushed him to GB Hospital hoping his better treatment but today they have to carry his dead body to home.
As per the allegation, the Dengue patient Rohit Das was taken to ICU and there centering an issue, a nurse had scolded Rohit and then Rohit slapped the nurse. Since then, the nurses turned hostage to the patient party, seeking their signature on paper saying, the nurse was slapped. But patient party refused to sign.

Then the nurse threatened the patient party saying “I will show you” and within a few minutes, Rohit was declared dead. When the patient party found Rohit’s dead body, he was deprived of all medical treatment including saline and was found in a different room, not in ICU.
“My son was murdered….” Said Rohit’s father.
Family sought a proper investigation into the entire incident.
